Chapters/Indigo is without a doubt my favourite place to buy items for my home all year round. Not only do I love books and bookstores but I love that their decor, accessories, and kitchenware all have a rustic Canadian twist to them. Their famous “reading socks” for example wouldn’t really make much sense in many climates. But I wear mine 100% of the time I’m indoors from November-March. My only wish is that they fit in my boots!
You can check out all of their holiday items here but it’s worth noting that that is only what they’ve posted so far! I’m sure there is more to come! I’m especially looking forward to seeing what wrapping paper and gift bags they have this year as I almost exclusively buy all my Christmas gift wrapping supplies from Indigo and Ikea!
I always get extra excited when Chapters/Indigo are about to release their Christmas goods. I love their decorations and I love walking through their stores around Christmas time. Here are a few of my favourite Winter/Christmas items that you can buy from Chapters online right now!
My #1 love is the beautiful Reading Socks that Chapters puts out year after year. I have about 4 different pairs. This year I’ve got my eyes on this pair of men’s reading socks with a fair Isle print. I like to buy the men’s socks because I have size 9 feet and pretty muscular calves and I find the one size fits all woman’s socks a bit tight. Keep an eye on these babies online because their $34.00 price tag can dip as low as $5 if you find the right sale! Currently they are on sale for $25.88

The next thing I really want is one of these faux fur throws. I like the brown but really I’d take one in any colour. I love the look and feel of fur but I would never purchase any real fur under any circumstances. Luckily for us Chapters has a whole variety of faux fur products that are cozy and soft. I feel like one of these would look great in the winter on top of my buffalo plaid sheets or my vintage Hudson’s Bay blanket. This blankets is on sale for $74.62 in multiple colours. You can also find faux fur blankets lined with plaid that sell for $80.

Indigo sells a whole series of products with beautiful illustrations that represent the different provinces and territories of Canada including these tree ornaments on sale for $7.50. I would love to know who did these illustrations/designs to credit them! You can also get mugs with the same illustrations on them and I recently bought the Newfoundland one for my friend’s birthday!

If I had to pick just one item they have for my tree it would be this stack of glitter books on sale for $11.25. It’s not only beautiful but as someone with three degrees in English lit books have always been one of my favourite Christmas presents!

If I didn’t already have a Christmas tree that I loved AND I had a spare $486.75 sitting around I would definitely buy this beautiful 9 foot faux spruce as my main Christmas tree. I love how full and realistic it looks, I love it’s 900 warm white lights and I LOVE the “snow” covered branches.

Indigo has so many adorable stockings I had a hard time picking just one. I think the rudolf fair isle stocking ($25.88) that matches the reading socks I mentioned before has to be my number one pick. But I would also be very happy with this beautiful ski hill scene with faux fur trim!
